We Didn’t Know It Then - original soft pastel
We had apple trees on the front lawn next to Mum’s pottery shed. We didn’t really play under them or have any profound childhood moments there — we mostly just slumped past on the way up the path.
At the time, they were just… trees. With spotty apples we had to pick before the birds got them.
But now? Now they feel artworthy.
Funny how some things get more beautiful after you’ve left home and learned how to appreciate a good blossom — and a good memory.
Image size 60cm x 60cm (outer edge of frame approx 75cm-80cm)
Framed in white with a double matt and UV70 anti-reflective glass
