What Is Pastel Together?
Pastel Together is an online space where we learn, create, and share the joy of soft pastels.
Each month, you’ll get to follow along with a step by step video tutorial, learning my process from start to finish, all from the comfort of your own home.
Whether you’re completely new to soft pastels or you’d like to see how I create my own artwork, you’ll find clear guidance, inspiration, and plenty of support inside. Over time, you’ll build confidence in your skills, discover your own creative rhythm, and feel the quiet satisfaction that comes from making something beautiful.

Hi, I’m Bernadette! I’m an award-winning soft pastel artist and a qualified teacher. I’ve always loved helping others grow their confidence with pastels, and teaching feels like a natural extension of my art. With 13 years primary teaching and 3 years teaching adults, I’m excited to teach my favourite medium to even more pastel enthusiasts!
Over the years I’ve learned so much through my own practice, and Pastel Together is where I share all those lessons, tips, and little discoveries that make a big difference.

Not at all. Each month you’ll get a detailed shopping list of the soft pastels I’ll be using. I aim to reuse the same palette for at least two months in a row so you can slowly build your pastel collection without the pressure of buying everything at once.
